American Oxygen
[edit]... that the Rihanna song "American Oxygen" is about achieving the American Dream?
Created by Tomica (talk). Nominated by Calvin999 (talk) at 08:59, 14 April 2015 (UTC).
- Not a very interesting hook as there are other songs with America-related themes. I'd probably instead say something about its release, video, or maybe a live performance (if such a performance gathers significant attention). Snuggums (talk / edits) 15:43, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
- I agree with SNUGGUMS here, that's the reason I am gonna give some alts:
- ALT1 ... that the music video for Rihanna's song "American Oxygen" contains various moments from American history, including the inauguration of Barack Obama?
ALT2 ... that Rihanna's 2015 song, "American Oxygen" features similar lyrical content to the one of the 2009 single by Jay Z and Alicia Keys, "Empire State of Mind"?
I think those are much better. — Tomíca(T2ME) 15:56, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you Tomica. I've tweaked ALT1 and am going with that. It is much better than the original hook. New hook is adequately sourced and neutral, no copyright concerns can be found, and article has expanded enough over the past four days after being created as a redirect last month. QPQ is also complete. Good to go! Snuggums (talk / edits) 16:41, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
