Article was revised, but ended up shorter, not expanded. Not eligible for DYK; can only be nominated if listed as a Good Article (and then only within five days of listing).

Allison Lefcort
[edit]- ... that "pop artist" Allison Lefcort who made portraits of Hillary Clinton, Barbara Streisand, and King Hussein of Jordon ... also made collectible Disney portraits of Mickey Mouse?
5x expanded by CaroleHenson (talk), Popartfan (talk). Nominated by CaroleHenson (talk) at 23:55, 1 January 2014 (UTC).
- Question I haven't nominated many DYK's and I'm not sure I selected the correct status of the article (new, expanded, etc.). It was one of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Women artists/Notability concerns and additional content and sources have been added recently. There were some interesting facts in the bio that I thought would make for a good DYK. My question though is: Is this a type of situation where a DYK is allowed?--CaroleHenson (talk) 17:41, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

- A great job was done revitalizing this article. Unfortunately, I don't think this is eligible for DYK as it is neither new (having been originally created in 2009) nor expanded sufficiently. For future reference, you'll typically need a five-fold expansion of the prose and you need to nominate the article within five days of its creation/expansion. - Comment - Yes, thanks! Someone clarified that for me after I had posted the nomination. Thanks for taking a look!--CaroleHenson (talk) 20:43, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
