Alfred and Emily
[edit]- ... that in Alfred and Emily Doris Lessing abolished the First World War?
5x expanded by C.Koltzenburg (talk). Self nominated at 19:02, 28 October 2014 (UTC).
- I am afraid this is not eligible for DYK because it has previously appeared on the main page as a DYK hook. Even if that had not been the case, it wouldn't have been allowed because the expansion began on October 7, but was not nominated within seven days. (While there might be leniency had it been a couple of days late, it was a full two weeks too late.) Another point is that the expansion was from over 1900 prose characters to under 5600 prose characters, less than a 3x expansion, over 4000 characters short of a 5x expansion. (DYK measures by prose characters, not by bytes.) I do hope you'll try again in the future; you can always check the article's talk page to see whether it has previously been a DYK.
