Alex Adams (Holby City)
[edit]- ... that television critic Jim Shelley said that the Holby City character Alex Adams was "arguably the smuggest, most narcissistic, self-piteous character on TV"...? [The murderers, adulterers and nymphomaniacs who work there pale into significance alongside Adams, arguably the smuggest, most narcissistic, self-piteous character on TV https://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-106314266.html]
- ALT1:... that Holby City's production team worked with the Parkinson's Disease Society to create a Parkinson's disease storyline for the character Alex Adams ...? [The society was approached by the production team of BBC medical drama Holby City over 18 months ago, to say they were considering introducing young-onset Parkinson's as a storyline https://www.prweek.com/article/189865/campaigns-tv-develops-awareness-parkinsons---charity-pr]

- New enough; created June 22 and nominated June 24.
- Long enough, at 15804 characters.
- Within policy: Plenty of inline citations, but too many require paid subscriptions; I don't know if this is an issue for DYK but since the other sources check out, I'm okay with passing it here. Seems neutral, with no problems with close paraphrasing, copyright violations, and plagiarism.
- Hook: Both choices fit the requirements, although I personally like the 2nd one better.
- DYK good to go. Interesting article about British TV, something I wish I had time to see more of. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 04:37, 4 July 2018 (UTC)
