... that Lithuanian Nazi collaborator Aleksandras Lileikis claimed to be part of the anti-Nazi resistance, despite signing documents handing over Jews to be murdered?
ALT1:... that Lithuanian Nazi collaborator Aleksandras Lileikis was described as "a senior-level perpetrator of the Holocaust"?
ALT2: ... that the CIA recruited Lithuanian Nazi collaborator Aleksandras Lileikis even though it suspected him of murdering Jews during the Holocaust?
Overall: ALT1 is not as hooky as the others. I shall leave it open for either ALT0 or ALT2 to be selected. Gog the Mild (talk) 18:18, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
ALT2 is rather misleading. He did not murder directly, but handed them over to be murdered. "suspected him of participating in the Holocaust?" would be more accurate. Renata (talk) 09:00, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
I don't agree. By your logic, Adolf Eichmann did not murder any Jews during the Holocaust, because he directed his subordinates to do so. buidhe 09:20, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
Just pointing out that there is a difference between "murdering" and "being responsible for/ordering murders", and we should be precise about that. Renata (talk) 10:43, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
