Alan Abel (musician)
[edit]- ... that Alan Abel served as a percussionist on the Philadelphia Orchestra for 38 years?
- ALT1:... that Alan Abel invented a special triangle and bass drum stand in the 1960s, both of which are now widely used by American symphonic orchestras?

- Interesting life, on good sources, no copyvio obvious. I prefer the first hook, as more concise, - you get a bit lost in the ALT, "both of which" not a construction to my liking. The image is licensed, unusual and a perfect illustration. - You may want to check the flow in the article, trying to avoid a sequence of short sentences all starting with "he". --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:19, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
