Adoration of the Shepherds (Domenichino)
[edit]- ... that the Adoration of the Shepherds (1607–10, pictured) by Domenichino shows the newborn Jesus listening to bagpipe music?

- This is for the December 25th Christmas special section.
- Article was created on December 16, and is plenty long enough. It is well referenced throughout, and checks reveal no copyvio or close paraphrasing. Use of words such as "possibly", "presumably" make me worry about the possibility of original research, but the editor is well established, with a number of featured articles backing up their significant DYK contributions, so I am happy to AGF. The hook is appropriately referenced in the article to an offline source, for which I will also AGF. Good to go. Harrias talk 21:26, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
