Adab al-Tabib

[edit]
  • ... that the author of Adab al-Tabib, called the "crowning achievement" in early Islamic medical ethics, may actually have been a Christian?

  • Why not phrase it something like "that although the Adab al-Tabib, has been called the "crowning achievement" of early Islamic medical ethics, its author may actually have been a Christian?" Abyssal (talk) 14:20, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
  • We could, but that kind of implies that the text itself might not be Islamic. It's definitely written from an Islamic perspective to an Islamic audience based on Islamic principles, so I don't really like the idea of suggesting that it's not Islamic, even if the author himself didn't share those principles. • Fine. This should be good to go then. Abyssal (talk) 16:14, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
