Aama (2020 film)
- ... that Nepali actress Surakshya Panta shaved her head for her role in Aama? The actress shaved her head for the role"

- Would it be possible for another hook to be proposed here? An actor shaving their head for a film role is not unusual, and the name of the actress may not be familiar to non-Nepali readers, meaning that the significance of her head shaving is lost to international audiences. - Narutolovehinata5, It is quite a rare sight in Nepal. As far back as I can remember, something like this happened only two times Once when Koirala went bald after undergoing treatment for cancer Once Adhikari went bald because "why not". It was never for their performance in the film. In Nepal, a girl never has her hair cut after the first haircut (like since 11 months old). In the context of the film, Antyesti, the last sacrifice, is done by their eldest son, or a male mourner, or a priest but a woman is not allowed to be part of the cremation rites (according to the holy texts). ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 11:30, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
- If that's the case I don't think the hook would work as Wikipedia is not read only by Nepali people and most global readers wouldn't know this context. If you can somehow incorporate that context into the hook, it might work, but as currently written it needs to be revised. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 12:11, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
- Narutolovehinata5, I think this could work. There is nothing more to add in the head-shaving hook.
- ALT1: ... that the staff of The Annapurna Express described 2020 Nepali film Aama as "[it] breaks norms, dismantles stereotypes and proves there are mature filmmakers and artists in the industry"? ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 11:42, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
- It doesn't really sound like a hook honestly. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:02, 11 June 2020 (UTC)

ALT1a: that according to The Annapurna Express, 2020 Nepali film Aama proves that "there are mature filmmakers and artists in the industry"?
- Narutolovehinata5, Maybe this? ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 11:56, 14 June 2020 (UTC)
- Again, it doesn't really sound like a hook and the wording itself is vague: what does "there are mature filmmmakers in the industry" mean in this context? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:38, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
- I thought the first hook was kind of hooky because you don't see a lot of celebs (female) shaving their head for a role. I think it's best to withdraw the nomination. ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 12:28, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
- Noted. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 08:27, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
