A Song for Arbonne
- ... that the 1992 book A Song for Arbonne is set in a fantasy world loosely based on 12th-century Provence? Source: "Based on the troubadour culture that rose in Provence during the High Middle Ages" A Song for Arbonne at Publisher's Weekly and "Arbonne bears a similar resemblance to 12th-century Provence" A Song for Arbonne at Kirkus Reviews

- Interesting book, on fine sources, no copyvio obvious. The hook is fine but I suggest you link to the troubadours in Provence, not to the present-day province. In the article, how about mentioning the publication date in the lead? And add whatever you can, - it's a bit heavy in plot. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:48, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: Regarding a link to "the troubadours in Provence", is there a specific article to target (I could not find one), or just troubadour? I have added the publication date in the text. Regarding the article being plot-heavy, I have been unable to access offline and paywalled sources, so couldn't add much beyond what the short reviews I've sourced provide. (It's one of the reasons I added citations for the plot, which are generally not required for such sections.) I'll see if I can find other sources. Mindmatrix 22:06, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
