2017 World Women's Snooker Championship
- ... that the final of the 2017 World Women's Snooker Championship was the longest ever recorded best-of-11-frames match, lasting over eight hours of play time? Source: https://www.straitstimes.com/sport/two-special-women-one-very-long-match

- Article was created within the last seven days, is over the required prose size and has no copyvio concerns. Hook is interesting and has an inline citation to a seemingly reliable source. QPQ provided, good to go. Kosack (talk) 19:39, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I wonder if the hook fact is debatable. This source names different record-holders, and there are others on a Google search. Personally, I think it would be hookier to say how many hours On-yee was playing in order to win the final. Yoninah (talk) 19:09, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- That source only states the record for the longest single frame. The hook is for the longest best-of-11-frames match. Kosack (talk) 19:16, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- Indeed. Fergel's match holds the record for the longest single frame, whereas this is the longest 11-frames match. Saying it is a 8 hour match isn't really that impressive, as longer frame matches (such as the world championship final - best-of-35) are much longer.
