1893 Quchan earthquake, 1895 Quchan earthquake
[edit]( Back to T:TDYK )

- ... that the death toll in the 1895 Quchan earthquake was less than in the one that struck the town in 1893, partly because most of the rebuilt houses used a lighter form of construction?
- Comment: The 'Tectonic setting' section of the two articles is naturally identical, so feel free to discount this when counting characters in the second article. I have begun a review of Template:Did you know nominations/Hugo d'Oignies, Oignies Abbey - now completed [1].
