Élie Bloncourt
[edit]- ... that Guadeloupe-born Élie Bloncourt was permanently blinded in World War I and part of the French resistance movement in World War II?
- Reviewed: Michael Meinecke
5x expanded by Iselilja (talk). Self nominated at 23:15, 27 January 2015 (UTC).
- The 5x expansion checks out, and the hook references check out too (after I added a citation to the WWI blindness sentence). The hook length is fine, but there was a hyphen missing, which I have taken the liberty of correcting. The first paragraph in the inter-war section is missing a reference, and I think that should either be referenced or removed before this is approved. However, the rest of the referencing seems sound. Very nice work. :) — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 15:48, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you. I added two named references to the paragraph in question. There is another sentence that needs citation: that is because the info was in the article when I started editing it and it is probably correct, but I can't find any reliable sources for it. This sentence may just be removed if it's a problem. Iselilja (talk) 23:20, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for dealing with that. I also added an inline reference for the reference in the hook to him being born in Guadeloupe (I had overlooked this yesterday). It would be nice to deal with that other unsourced sentence too, but one unsourced sentence shouldn't prevent an article being accepted by DYK, I would say. Looks good to go. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 23:43, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
