Édouard Joseph Dantan
[edit]- ... that Édouard Joseph Dantan (pictured) exhibited in the 1869 Salon at the age of 21?

- Comment: Any ideas for a catchier hook welcome

- DYK checks:
- Article is new (on the 5th), long enough, sourced, and appears to be policy-compliant
- Hook length is fine, but as suggested, it's not quite catchy enough. Is there something that you can explain why exhibiting at Salon at the age of 21 is interesting? Alternatively, perhaps that mural commission at age 19 is something more catchier (getting that type of work/recognition at a young age being the catch).
- QPQ good; image is properly licensed and free, and appropriate for subject.
- If the hook can be improved this should be ok. --MASEM (t) 17:24, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
- DYK checks:
- ALT1 ... that painter Édouard Joseph Dantan was the grandson, son and nephew of sculptors?
- ALT2 ... that Édouard Joseph Dantan was only 19 when he won a commission for a large religious mural?
