Template:Current iPadOS
Current: iPadOS 18.1, released October 28, 2024[1]
This template gives the current version of iPadOS. This template is only to be used on articles about iPads that support the current version of iPadOS. If an iPad no longer supports the latest iPadOS, replace this template with the version of iPadOS that the device is stuck on.
Per Apple this applies to:iPhone XS and later, iPad Pro 13-inch, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 3rd generation and later, iPad Pro 11-inch 1st generation and later, iPad Air 3rd generation and later, iPad 7th generation and later, and iPad mini 5th generation and later

Updating this template
[edit]When updating this page after a new release of iPadOS, please update all instances of the version (x3), date (x2) and reference (x2). For now, please update this template's short version as well!
Refs should be to first-party Apple.com web pages (found at support.apple.com/100100).
When transitioning to a new major release (eg, when Apple releases iPadOS 19), create the new template for models stuck on the older version first (eg, {{Current iPadOS 18}}), and apply that to all relevant articles before updating this template for the newer release.
