This template is used on approximately 3,400 pages and changes may be widely noticed. Test changes in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user subpage. Consider discussing changes on the talk page before implementing them.

This template is used as a base for all contentious topics editnotices that have page restrictions, such as topic specific editnotices. It should not be used directly.

Usage of this template will place the editnotice in Category:Wikipedia arbitration enforcement current sanctions unless nocat is set.

Protection level applied, if any	`protection`	What kind of protection has been applied. Must be one of semi, ecp or full. Leave blank for no protection being applied. Suggested values `semi` `ecp` `full`	String	optional
Is the 1RR restriction active	`1RR`	Include any content to mark that the 1RR restriction is active.	Unknown	optional
