Template:Cite State Library of Queensland CC BY/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template provides citation and attribution to the State Library of Queensland for articles based upon a webpage from the library's website, whose text is released under CC BY 4.0 license. It is intended for use when the text copied is only a small quantity (a paragraph or so). For articles containing a large amount of SLQ web content, please cite normally and use the {{SLQ CC BY}} template in the Attribution section of the References section.

Parameters

[edit]

It takes 7 parameters:

  • url: URL of the web page (or archive page) from which the text was copied (mandatory)
  • title: title of the web page (mandatory)
  • authors: text string to enumerate the authors (may include links) (optional)
  • date: date the material was written or published, where available (optional)
  • website: name of a specific topic area on the SLQ webs, e.g. Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages map
  • accessdate: the date the webpage was retrieved for copying (mandatory)

Do not use "State Library of Queensland" in the website name. This will be added automatically by the template as the publisher.
