Parameters
[edit]There is one mandatory unnamed parameter, which is the case-sensitive page designation code. The code appears at the end of the page url.
For example in www.ibiblio.org/lighthouse/jpst.htm
the code is jpst and the usage would be {{Cite rowlett|jpst}}
Optional parameters:
|date=
|accessdate=
|archive-url=
|archive-date=
|url-status=
|link=no
- the publisher (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) is rendered without a wikilink. This is useful when multiple citations to the directory are used to avoid overlinking.
Error messages
[edit]If the code is unknown it will produce an error. For example {{cite rowlett|foo}}
produces:
- Rowlett, Russ. "Lighthouses of". The Lighthouse Directory. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The solution is to add the code to the template. There are codes at the Rowlett website that has not yet been added to the template.
