Template:Cite NSW Parliamentary Record/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NSW Parliamentary Record contains lists of the Parliaments of New South Wales, members, electorates, Governors, Ministries and Parliamentary Officers since 1824.

Usage

[edit]

This template creates a {{Cite book}} citation to the parts of the NSW Parliamentary Record. The advantage of using this template is that government URL's have not historically been stable when websites are revamped. Thus, only this template needs to be update and not individual references. Further the menu system on the website means it is not easy to find the parliamentary record.

Copy a blank version to use. Almost all parameter names are supported only in lower case (some initialisms, such as |isbn= have upper-case aliases like |ISBN=, which are acceptable for use). Use the "|" (pipe) character between each parameter. Unused parameters may be deleted to avoid clutter in the edit window. Some samples on this documentation page may include the current date. If the date is not current, then purge the page.
