Usage

This template supplies a list of weblinks as part of the CatScan tool and several other useful tools.

Commonscat

Using this a category on Commons, together with its sub-categories, can be searched for changes in the last 7 days. The changes are not sorted by the date of the change but by the date when the file was uploaded, with the most recent at the top. Because the categorisation at Commons is not always hierarchical and does not distinguish between themes and object, this is recommended only for "overarching" portals (where this is not the case it will display a lot of files, whose relationship is not obvious at first glance).
