Template:CIC1983/lookup table/doc

This template is a subroutine of {{CIC1983}} that chooses the appropriate book.part.section.title.chapter.article.canon in the 1983 Code of Canon Law (CIC), based on the canon number passed to it. It accepts only the first unnamed parameter as the canon number and returns the file and the named anchor of that canon. If an invalid canon is input, it return the table of contents (_INDEX.HTM).

It may be used as a stand-alone should the book.part.section.title.chapter.article information be needed in another context.

It was generated in a spreadsheet from the table of contents found at www.vatican.va/archive/ENG1104/_INDEX.HTM on 5 December 2015. The tab-separated table may be updated independently of the rest of the code.
