The BiolFlor template is used to generate a link to the "Datenbank biologisch-ökologischer Merkmale der Flora von Deutschland" (Database of Biological-Ecological Features of the Flora of Germany), which is maintained by the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research. This template accepts one unnamed numerical parameter, and generates a link to the relevant page in the BiolFlor database.
Usage

Accepts all parameters that {{cite encyclopedia}} does. |title= can override the entry name, e.g.
- {{BiolFlor|id=5|title=Test|access-date=1 January 2016}}
- → "Test". BiolFlor (Database of Biological-Ecological Features of the Flora of Germany) (in German). Retrieved 1 January 2016.

- ID of plant in the BiolFlor database, alias for unnamed first parameter
- linktext
- when set to "no" (or equivalent), produce bare URL instead of CS1 citation
