Usage

This template is used to provide Bible verse references, like {{Bibleverse}}, but with "nb", no book name displayed.

Use a hyphen, not a dash, to separate ranges. En-dash works, but does not work in all operating system and browser combinations(???).

Example

• Verse {{Bibleverse-nb|Genesis|1:1–2, 9|KJV}} of Genesis produces: Verse 1:1–2, 9 of Genesis
• Verse {{Bibleverse-nb|Genesis|1:1–2, 9}} of Genesis produces: Verse 1:1–2, 9 of Genesis

Replacement:

• Verse {{Bibleverse|Genesis|nobook=yes|1:1-2, 9|KJV}} of Genesis produces the same: Verse 1:1–2, 9 of Genesis

TemplateData for Bibleverse-nb

A template to generate a link to selected Bible editions at several sites including biblegateway.com. This template will create a link to the specified chapter and verse, range(s) of chapter(s) and verse(s), or entire chapter, but without specifying the book in the anchor text for the link. To create a link with the book name in the anchor text, use Bibleverse without the |nobook=yes parameter.

Template parameters

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
Book	1	The name of the book. Formats are listed at tools.wmflabs.org/bibleversefinder/biblebooks_bibleref.txt	String	required
Chapter:verse	2	The chapter and verse, range(s) of chapter(s) and verse(s), or entire chapter to be cited (for example: '5:4', '1:1–2', '21:1–24:7', '1:2–3; 13:10', '6').	String	required
Source	3	The edition to be cited. (Default is NRSV.) Given in common abbreviations (e.g., 'KJV', 'NIV') or according to the numbers or abbreviations listed at tools.wmflabs.org/bibleversefinder/bibleversefinder.php#srcref	String	optional
