Template:Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis
Appearance
BWV
Usage
This template outputs the abbreviation "BWV", which stands for "Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis" (lit. 'Bach works catalogue'), and provides a tooltip that explains the abbreviation.
If the optional parameter is used, the template also produces a non-breaking space before outputting the argument passed. This parameter is generally intended for BWV numbers, although the code technically does not implement such a restriction. Note that if an argument beginning with "Anh." is passed in, representing a work on the BWV Anh. list, the template does not automatically produce a non-breaking space immediately after the "Anh.".
