Template:Azerbaijani Soviet Encyclopedia
Баш редактор: Ҹ. Б. Гулијев (ed.). Азәрбајҹан Совет Енсиклопедијасы: [10 ҹилддə]. Бакы: Азәрбајҹан Совет Енсиклопедијасынын Баш Редаксиjасы.
The template is for a more convenient reference to the ASE from the Wikipedia article.
Explanation: application features of the template
* {{Azerbaijani Soviet Encyclopedia|Number of volume (1,2 and etc.)|Page number}} * {{Azerbaijani Soviet Encyclopedia|Number of volume (1,2 and etc.)|Page number|The name of the referenced ASE article}}
In the "Page number" field, specify only one page number. If you want to specify two numbers in that field, put a regular hyphen (-) after the first number without omitting a space, then you can type one (for example, 334-335) or several numbers. If that field is left blank, the {{ Azerbaijani Soviet Encyclopedia}} template will automatically redirect to any page, and if the field is deleted, the {{ Azerbaijani Soviet Encyclopedia}} template will automatically redirect to the archive version of the first page of the volume.
If the title of the referenced ASE article is the same as the name of the page on which the template is placed, the template may not display the title of the article, as the template itself will automatically display the title of the article:
In other words, if you place the template on the page in this way:
{{Azerbaijani Soviet Encyclopedia|6|42-43}}
the title of the page will automatically appear instead of the title of the article:
Баш редактор: Ҹ. Б. Гулијев, ed. (1982). 42–43.
As you can see, since the title of the article is no longer displayed here, the title of this page will automatically appear instead of the title of the article. However, you should also note that the name of the article in the template will automatically change when the name of the page where the template is placed is changed later. If the page is likely to be renamed, it would be a good idea to note the title of the referenced ASE article in the template from the beginning.
