Usage

This is a template that was created to easily update every article with the 2009 MLB American League Central standings. To use the update on any article, insert:

{{2009 AL Central standings}}

To highlight the Minnesota Twins, insert:

{{2009 AL Central standings|highlight=Minnesota Twins}}

Teams shown in italics used a one-game playoff to determine division champion.

For the other teams, use:

Chicago White Sox
Clevland Indians
Detroit Tigers
Kansas City Royals
