Tawee Walker is an American football running back for the Wisconsin Badgers. He previously played for the Oklahoma Sooners.

Early life and high school

Walker grew up in North Las Vegas, Nevada and attended Mojave High School before transferring to Centennial High School in Peoria, AZ during his senior season.

College career

Palomar

During Walker's one season at Palomar in 2021, he rushed 187 times for 875 yards and eight touchdowns while playing in all eleven games.[1]

Oklahoma

After the 2021 season, Walker decided to walk-on to play for the Oklahoma Sooners.[2][3] In Walker's first season with the Sooners in 2022 he rushed 18 times for 62 yards while playing in eleven games for the Sooners.[4] In week two of the 2023 season, Walker rushed 21 times for 117 yards in a win over SMU.[5] In week six, Walker rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns as the Sooners main running back, helping them beat #3 Texas.[6] In week seven, Walker was suspended for one game by Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables.[7] In week eight, Walker rushed for a career high 146 yards and a touchdown, but the Sooners fell to Kansas.[8] During the 2023 season, Walker rushed 102 times for 513 yards and seven touchdowns, while also hauling in ten receptions for 81 yards.[9] After the conclusion of the 2023 season Walker decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[10][11]

Wisconsin
