Tara Emad (Egyptian Arabic: تارا عماد; born 11 May 1993) is an Egyptian actress and model.[2]

Career

Tara Emad[3] is the daughter of an Egyptian father and a Yugoslav Montenegrin mother. Around the age of only 14, She had her first photo shoot with the MENA magazine Layalina, this also lead to her first runway show.[4] Emad participated in Miss Teen Egypt and won the award in 2010.[5] As a result, she entered the Miss Global Teen pageant in the same year in Brasil; Emad was the 1st runner-up and given the title of Teen Queen of Africa.[6][7] She is studying at the German University in Cairo- Applied Arts & Science.[3] She previously attended school at Port Said Language School in Zamalek, Cairo.

She started acting when she was 15 years old.

She has been on the cover of more than 50 magazines in Egypt, Lebanon, Montenegro, France, Italy and four times on the cover of Elle Middle East and Marrie Claire Arabia, Vogue Arabia & Italy.

Philanthropy

Emad is involved with her own charity organization Help From Your Heart Foundation; she has been a part of the organization since 2013. The project distributes donations to families and children in orphanages in Cairo.[3]
