Avoiding space debris
[edit]Zvezda uses it's thrusters in addition to resupply spacecraft to help the ISS avoid space debris. http://arstechnica.com/science/2013/07/how-nasa-steers-the-international-space-station-around-space-junk/
Pizza Hut Rocket
[edit]A picture of the Pizza Hut image would be nice. Sherurcij (talk) (Terrorist Wikiproject) 15:58, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- Agree, that would be great. Allyddin Sane 18:07, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- Lets get this straight... the pizza hut logo was only on the proton ROCKET that launched the zvezda module, not the module itself, the way it is writen right now is missleading. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.99.170.142 (talk) 20:34, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Update Template
[edit]I don't see much that's particularly out of date on this page. Why was it flagged with an update template? Sdsds 09:58, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Mir 2
[edit]Added a Mir 2 section as Zvezda was part of that project and it redirects here. Perhaps all this info should be moved to it proper page (Mir-2) in the future.Ricnun 11:19, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- I've thought the same thing being that Space Station Freedom has it's own page. Might I suggest exploring the Mir page and the Mir Core Module. Also Mir#Development has some information about Zvezda with it's development alongside Mir.
- I replaced the Mir-2 redirect with the material from this article. (Sdsds - Talk) 02:22, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Images
[edit]http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/gallery/images/station/crew-2/html/s104e5121.html I just found some images of the interior. I think i will write something about the functions of the module this week. --TheDJ (talk • contribs) 11:31, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- On a similar note, I've been scouring the web trying to find a diagram of Zvezda, with no luck as yet - they all seem to be copyrighted. Looks like I'll have to drum one up myself! :-) Colds7ream 11:41, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- There are some partial diagrams on the NASA gallery, but they are all partials... --TheDJ (talk • contribs) 14:12, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
DOS-8??
[edit]We need to explain what this means in the article and furthermore why it links to the Salyut article. For sure someone who is new to this topic will be clueless about what this means. --Nat682 (talk) 17:00, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
