To do to improve
[edit]Currently, the article is more of a listing of characters in "Zuni mythology" (and a short list at that). I don't know where folks want to take this article, but as starters, how about this:
- give a description on each of the characters
- expand the list
- talk about some ceremonies
- talk about historical ceremonial artifacts and their relationship to modern ceremonial objects
- talk about Zuni cultural protection and how the traditional "Zuni mythology" plays into that process.

Adding More Information to Article
[edit]Zuni Mythology Bibliography list (for now)
http://www.native-languages.org/zuni-legends.htm
http://pages.hmc.edu/beckman/western/zuni.htm
I will explore further into these cites for more information into the various Zuni characters and expand on the topic.

Christian bias
[edit]Calling it "mythology" is a weasel way of demeaning it. Either call it "religion" or call Christianity "mythology," but be consistent. They each have equal amounts of proof to back up their claims. (That is, none.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:8C3:4001:9220:90F2:468C:18A2:A8B6 (talk) 01:48, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
- I think you make a good point, and I see online sources that could back that up (calling it religion rather than mythology). I suggest that this be taken to the talk page of Wikipedia:WikiProject Indigenous peoples of North America for further feedback. You could also start a formal Request for Comments here.
