Poisonous for Humans?

[edit]

Isn't this spider poisonous? I am not qualified enough to edit the article myself, but this seems to be a rather interesting point for the casual reader, who may find this insect crawling in one's house. (Istabraq (talk) 13:28, 23 January 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Addendum: Well, poisonous of sorts are almost all spiders. But almost all have a bite which cannot penetrate human skin. I think, this one can, can it not? (Istabraq (talk) 13:37, 23 January 2008 (UTC))[reply]

The bite of Zoropsis can penetrate the skin but the poison is relatively harmless for humans (should be similar to a bee or wasp see here). Maybe it should be mentioned that the spider can penetrate the skin and that the effect is similar to a wasp. --Buachamer (talk) 09:35, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
