Should be removed or heavily rewritten
[edit]I honestly think this should be removed or heavily rewritten. It isn't nearly as much about Zoltan Bathory as it is a shorter version of the Five Finger Death Punch page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.11.252.253 (talk) 23:20, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
- Not quite- the Five Finger Death Punch page doesn't look so much like a fan page as this one. Needs a redo. This looks journalistic, not encyclopedic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.186.240.194 (talk) 15:02, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Request for comment
[edit]I don't know how much to undo/rewrite! The additions by Gxynono (talk · contribs) are unsourced and too informal, but the previous version has no sources either. The person seems to pass WP:MUSICBIO, though, as a member of two wiki-notable bands. -- John of Reading (talk) 14:37, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
- Response to RfC I agree that much what has been added by Gxynono is improper and should be removed. The supposed quotes need to have specific sources. Anything that has no sources should be removed, and the tone is a problem. Figureofnine (talk) 18:01, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
- From RFC I agree, its too casually written for Wikipedia. Omirocksthisworld(Drop a line) 23:49, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
The only biographical reference is the man's own facebook page
[edit]That alone should merit seriously questioning the validity of the article. The whole thing reminds me of the various false claims and exaggerations made by Vanilla Ice's publicists back in the day. — H3Knuckles (talk) 01:29, 4 October 2012 (UTC) 01:24, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
Birth date issue
[edit]Hi! In a Zoltan Bathory interview from 2009 he talked about his Wikipedia article and that his 1978 birth date was totally false. The interview was published in the Hungarian Hammerworld magazine:
″Q: Jóbarátunk, a Wikipedia szerint 1978-ban születtél, de ez tutira nem stimmel...
"A: Ha-ha! Nem tudtad, hogy amint átteszed a segged Hollywoodba, azonnal öt évvel fiatalabb leszel?! Egyébként eredetileg Szentendrén születtem, és mivel régesrégi barátok vagyunk, igazolhatod, hogy valóban Magyarországon éltem. Ez ugyanis néha vita tárgyát képezi...″
In English:
″Q: According to our good friend, Wikipedia, you were born in 1978, but the story doesn't hold together...
"A: Ha-ha! Don't you know that when you move your ass to Hollywood you'll be five years younger instantly?! Anyway I was born in Szentendre, and since we are very old friend you can confirm that I lived in Hungary. Sometimes it is manner in dispute...″

- @Ary: Removed, correct date can be added with a reference. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 12:11, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
