Use in Materials Science/Solid State Physics
[edit]While both ZnS and CdS are well known materials (particularly when used in the form of quantum dots), the tertiary/doped compound ZnCdS is also a known material in solid state/material science. It might be worth adding a subsection mentioning this.68.6.76.31 (talk) 05:32, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
U.S. NRC research involved secret testing on low-income housing
[edit]Apparently, some declassified documents indicate that the U.S. National Research Council's "exhaustive, independent review" involved spraying poor neighborhoods in St. Louis with ZnCdS, without their knowledge. (Article [1] Source [2]) Given the controversy, if one is going to cite the research, one should likely also bring up the related violation.
