Not dictionary
[edit]Wikipedia is not a dictionary. Propose merging this article to Yid or List of ethnic slurs. --DonaldDuck (talk) 12:26, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
Delete. Looks like this article was created entirely for whitewashing the xenophobic comment made by Miroshnychenko. To the contrary to what the article says, жидовка (or, more correctly, жидівка) is an ethnic slur in the modern Ukrainian language, which is easily verifiable by looking it up in a dictionary. --glossologist (talk) 04:48, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
- This article is past the dictionary stage; but just in very poor condition compared to Faggot (slang). — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 18:46, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
Ukraine
[edit]the attempts of today Ukrainian neo-Nazi-leaning government are laughable. In fact, openly neo-Nazi activists (Svoboda, C-14, etc.) openly say, like, "we have nothing against 'yevrei' (Jews), but 'zhyds' (yids) must be removed from the Ukrainian land." It is especially telling this month's scandal with the antisemitic racist snake pit in the Ukrainian consulate in Gamburg uncovered by Anatoly Sharij. I guess I will write an article about this scandal when the dust settles a bit. (Searxch for Marushynets Marushinets Марушинец). Staszek Lem (talk) 21:32, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
