Pipa Performer?
[edit]According to the external links, do you think pipa performer will be better? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.86.235.147 (talk) 22:51, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Zhou Yi (musician) would be best, as we usually do it that way if there is only one musician with that name. Zhou Yi (pipa player) would be second choice, as "pipa player" is a more common English construction than "pipa musician." Badagnani (talk) 23:17, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
why don't you change it to Zhou Yi (musician)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.86.235.147 (talk) 23:48, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- I think it would be better, but I thought that whoever had titled it "Zhou Yi (pipa performer)" had already found that there was already an article under the title "Zhou Yi (musician)." Usually we start with "musician," then get progressively more specific as necessary, if there are multiple people with the same name. Badagnani (talk) 00:07, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- OK, it's moved. Badagnani (talk) 00:07, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- sounds complicated. Change it back to pipa performer then. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.86.235.147 (talk) 01:22, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- Please sign all posts by adding four tildes after your post. It's at Zhou Yi (musician) now, which is the correct title if there are no other musicians with this name. Badagnani (talk) 01:33, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
