Blanking

[edit]

This blanking of sourced information, by a new anonymous editor, is simply unacceptable, in light of the evidence presented. Please reverse yourself on this, thank you. Constructive edits are always welcomed, but destructive ones are not. Badagnani (talk) 21:51, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Music recordings

[edit]

I'm not sure if the article should mention that the music on "Buddhist Music of the Ming Dynasty (1993). JVC" is performed by staff from the Central Conversatory of Music.

There is also another recording, released by Wind Records of Taiwan. I think it was vol 9 from a series of those meditation/relaxation CDs. No performers are stated, it just said Zhihua temple music.

Both CDs (as mp3s) are available on the net somewhere.

You're right about the JVC recording. They play very well! I visited the temple in 2005 but the temple musicians wouldn't play for me because the temple was undergoing renovations (for the 2008 Olympics!). Badagnani (talk) 17:35, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
