They started making the first mother board out of CTI in New Brighton next to the old post office....and yes the old building was just taken down last year....My dad was an engineer there and I remember helping Greg with his first invention, the endless cassette/ radio stattion for selling houses. Me and my brother got paid for everyone we put together. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.187.82 (talk) 05:50, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure they were based in Minnesota. Minneapolis or suburb -- maybe it was Golden Valley. They had stand-alone stores also -- I bought a PC from one in 1995. Rufus Sarsaparilla 05:12, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

History in Brief

[edit]

In 1990, ZEOS was originally located just West of County Rd E2 and 35W in New Brighton, MN. I believe the building is gone now. In late 1991 they moved to the Space Center Industrial Building located near Industrial Blvd NE and 35W in Minneaplis, MN. There were very modern assembly, test, and shipping systems installed. At this juncture in time, between the building of the 486 to it's maximum potential and the build up of the Pentium Processors, ZEOS was unable to keep up with orders due to the lack of supply to the assembly plant as Intel could not keep up with demand globally. ZEOS and several other computer manufacturers fell to the way side as Intel picked who it wanted to ship to. By early 1993 ZEOS had fallen beyond the point of no return. I was very disheartened as ZEOS became vulnerable to a buy out from the competion. I watch this company grow to become a major player in the personal computer arena and fall to it's doom, as I worked for ZEOS during this time. I write this for the truth and my friends. Richard
