- For first mention, all ranks should be linked

- I'd suggest putting his rank in the lead
- I understand the difficulties with finding sources from this period, but if you could broaden the range of sources, it certainly wouldn't hurt.
- Do we have a cause of death?

- The civil war section jumps from the start of the war to bis capture- is there any more detail on his service?
