Edit explanation

[edit]

The explanation for my edits is too long for the edit summary, so here goes:

  • There is no point in the "Not to be confused with..." at the top, since there is no article about Zemlengrad and this is the only article where the medieval castle is mentioned.
  • The sentence "Along the Struma River, down from Zemen, there is a river gorge. The medieval Zemlеngrad was located on it." is redundant, since it is all mentioned just below.
  • The construction "15th-16th century late medieval chronicle" is in itself redundant, the centuries are eoungh. The removal of "Serbian" from the description of the chronicle is, however, fine.
  • The parenthesis "(in Raška language means Zemun)" is difficult to understand. Moreover, the so-called Raška language is not mentioned in any scholarly sources presented so far.

As for the spelling of the name Zemlengrad, formerly written Zemlangrad, I have no idea what is correct. It seems that there is also another alternate spelling Zemlingrad. Anyone care to clarify which is correct? --T*U (talk) 16:14, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
