From my readings, the 1355 date comes from the first mention of Schloss (Castle) Zehista in the written record. Therefore, it would have had to exist before that date. There is also the issue of when the schloss exists, as opposed to the town around it. I have to admit I am not an expert in these issues. Perhaps when my German language skills improve I can translate some of the German wikipedia entry on Zehista into this English language version. Bobkeyes (talk) 23:10, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
