Zairil is not Malay
[edit]There has been controversies that Zairil is not the biological son of Khir Johari.
1. http://www.kwongwah.com.my/news/2013/01/25/83.html ; he might have been born "Christopher Ross Lim" to a Singaporean father Howard Lim in Hawaii in 1982. There is no evidence to support 'Howard Lim' claim.
2. His mother married Tan Sri Khir Johari in 1997, after Khir Johari's 1st wife passed away. Zairil is born in 1982; if the first allegation is not true, then there is a possibility that he was born out of an affair with Khir Johari back then. But there were no rumours to support this possibility. Wikipedia should state facts backed by reliable authorities. No 'rumours' should be allowed to support any possibility that is not proven true.

There has been no official source supporting this, but this has been widely debated in the blogs and "independent" news sites such as Malaysia Today, Malaysia Chronicle etc. Mr Tan (talk) 10:46, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

Zairl's marriage
[edit]There have been attempts by wiki contributors to hide Zairl's personal life, even though it has been properly referenced. It is a fact Zairil married Ulfah Zainal Abidin http://sirehphotography.fotopages.com/?entry=1425544/ and later Dahlia Rahman http://www.fz.com/content/ge13-daps-zairil-well-received-during-first-walkabout/
There should not be hiding of any biographical matters. This makes Wikipedia a source of propaganda and not a good source of knowledge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Penang sen (talk • contribs) 03:58, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

YouTube
[edit]I don't have a problem with YouTube being used as a citation but when the video is the subject speaking is that not a self-published citation?--AhmedFaizP (talk) 18:19, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
- If its accepted, then the writeup should attribute it clearly - > state that its something that is stated/claimed by the subject himself. That should work. Zhanzhao (talk) 22:07, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
