- Lead: Immediately following the name, the dates of birth and death, if known, should be included.
- have added month of death, and am adding some more re his death.
- The lead should summarize the entire article. This lead needs to be expanded.
- I've had a crack at it, let me know what you think?
- A pretty substantial expansion is needed of his pre-World War II life. You have a date of birth, it needs to be sourced. In order for this to be a complete biography, it should include what can be found about his family and early life.
- PRODUCER has looked for sources in Serbo-Croat for this bloke, and there isn't much at all. There is now an early life section with his place and year of birth, but we don't even have a year for him joining the Yugoslav Air Force. I managed to find a reference to a notable brother-in-law, but there really is no other coverage available on his family or early life.
- The article is seriously lacking context. The infobox states his allegiance as the Chetniks, an anti-Axis organization, simultaneously to Nazi Germany. Which force was he loyal to, and explain a little about that force's allegiance in the war.
- I have removed the allegiance to the Germans and Italians as he personally didn't negotiate any agreements with either, although forces under his command fought alongside the Italians during Case White. I have added more context, let me know what you think?
- All of the details in the infobox need to be either sourced or included in the prose and sourced there.
- Done, I haven't been able to find his start date with the Air Force, so I've just left it as the WWII year range.
- "The conference was dominated by Đurišić and its resolutions expressed extremism and intolerance..." this is non-neutral language. You need to clarify who considers the resolutions to be extreme or intolerant.
- Have added quote and inline citation from Pavlowitch. I think it is consistent with other reliable sources, but I'm happy to use in-text attribution if you feel it's necessary.
- "pull the Chetniks back towards positions on the line of the Drina-Piva rivers, some 80–90 kilometres southwest of Jablanica." -- You'll need a convert template for all units of measurement.
- Done.
- Operation Weiss section mentions a "Colonel Bailey" who needs a first name.
- Done.
- 1943-44 section mentions a "Colonel McDowell" who also needs a first name.
- Done.
- Duplicate links tool returns one result: Drina
- Fixed.
- External links and disambiguation links tools return no problems. One image to illustrate the article which has a Fair Use rationale.
- No apparent stability or neutrality problems present.
- "Pavlowitch (2008)" -- This reference doesn't point to anything in the bibliography. It looks like you may have put in the wrong book, as the Pavlowitch (2007) reference points to no refs.
- perennial problem, too many editions, I've aligned them with my 2008 copy.
Placing the article on hold pending some pretty substantial improvements. —Ed!(talk) 23:45, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks Ed. Have made some substantial changes to address your observations. Let me know if any of your comments haven't been addressed. Regards, Peacemaker67 (send... over) 11:51, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
I re-read the article, and the information you added was extremely helpful in establishing a little more context. The only other thing I would suggest: generally, one-paragraph sections are frowned upon (such as "Early life" and "Plans for the "march on Bosnia"") So I would suggest you combine or expand some of those sections. But I won't hold it for GA based solely on that, so I'm passing the article. Good work. —Ed!(talk) 13:10, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
