Hey, I'll be reviewing this article. Expect comments by the end of the week. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 21:46, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
I really appreciate this! Thank you very much! -Dcdiehardfan (talk) 00:11, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
Infobox – Cast
[edit]- Add a short description to the top of the article.
- The poster's non-free use rationale looks good.
- "March 18, 2021 (United States)" → "March 18, 2021" (see discussion)
- Shouldn't "home world" be written as one word?
- Man of Steel is linked twice in #Cast.
History – Release
[edit]- The last source in the first paragraph is 'dead'.
- "cast and crew voiced support → "the cast and crew voiced support"
- Done
- "from Snyder and from the AFSP" → "from Snyder and the AFSP"
- Done
- "cancelled" → "canceled" (American English)
- Remove the comma after "his original cut did exist".
- Done
- "objected to do so" → "objected to doing so"
- Done
- "by October 6" → "on October 6"
- Done
- Jason Momoa and Wonder Woman are linked twice.
- Done
- Tom Holkenborg is linked twice.
- Add a hyphen between "long held".
- Done
- Add WP:DATECOMMAS after "February 17, 2021", "May 22, 2020", "March 18, 2021", "May 24, 2021", and "September 7, 2021".
- Add a hyphen between "well received".
- Done
- "pencilled" → "penciled" (American English)
- The third paragraph in #Marketing completely fails WP:TRAILER. Either add reactions to the content or remove it.
- "The film will also be released on HBO Max in Latin America when the service launches on June 29, 2021." – any updates?
- Done
- Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is linked twice.
- "his interest on" → "his interest in"
- Done
- "released the film to some viewers when attempting to watch Tom & Jerry" – this humorously makes it seem that the people at HBO Max released the film when they were trying to watch Tom & Jerry. Maybe change it to "released the film to some viewers that were attempting to watch Tom & Jerry"
- Add a serial comma between "Blu-ray, DVD and 4K".
- Add a serial comma between "Hong Kong, Australia, Germany and Italy".
- "in September 7, 2021" → "on September 7, 2021"
- Actually, use this to identify any other WP:REPEATLINKS.
Reception
[edit]- "in Crave" → "on Crave"
- "it became highest viewed" → "it became the highest viewed"
- The Hollywood Reporter has already been linked.
- "Over its first full week of release, the film was watched by 2.2 million US households, with 792,000 (36%) finishing it." – source?
- The critical response section needs the most work. I suggest following the "guidelines" listed at WP:RECEPTION. To start, avoid the use of quotes. Rotten Tomatoes says that there are about 300 approved reviews to choose from. This section only made room for 8. One main thing I would advise following is the first rule: "Organize the section by thematic element." There are many examples but the most recent one that I have worked on was the reception of Old. Split each paragraph into a certain topic (e.g. acting, directing, comparisons to the 'original', etc.). Remove all those quotes and add more reviews.
- That being said, websites should be italicized, Vulture should link to Vulture (website), and Mick LaSalle should be wikilinked.

- @Dcdiehardfan: Any updates? I've noticed that you haven't replied since my last edit. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 21:41, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
Oh, I was actually thinking I should wait a little bit, but I think now, the article has improved and instated most of the edits. I think it is up for another reevaluation Dcdiehardfan (talk) 04:02, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Dcdiehardfan: Thanks for the update. A whole lot of suggestions were not instated; I did them for you. Additionally, several issues in #References have not been fixed and WP:RECEPTION still needs to be followed to make this article a GA. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 22:48, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Some Dude From North Carolina: Since it has been far more than 7 days since the review and the article does not currently meet the criteria, shouldn't the article be failed for now? IronManCap (talk) 15:55, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- I don´t have an account but have added to the articles on and off, what exactly is needed to push the article over the edge to fulfill the Good Article criteria? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.64.147.84 (talk) 15:38, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
- @IronManCap: Before I discuss chances of a reassessment, I wanted to see what you think of the updates. I've been recently looking over the article and saw that most of the things recommended in the assessment were implemented. What about the prose, MOS, reference layout, and the original research need to be changed? -Dcdiehardfan (talk) 03:36, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
