- ... that Zack Kelly received a $500 signing bonus and was released by two organizations before he made his Major League Baseball debut?

- Everything is good. Article is sourced, long enough, and a well-referenced as a BLP. QPQ done, hook correct length. One recommendation: if you're willing to, I would encourage an ALT hook that uses the same source's quote from him where he says that he lost money his first year as a player–seems a little more interesting (though to a baseball person, I think the $500 bonus implies as much). ~ Pbritti (talk) 16:35, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
- Pbritti, willing to give it a shot, if you don't mind reviewing the ALT. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:14, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
- ALT1a: ... that Zack Kelly received a $500 signing bonus, spent more money than he earned to play, and was released by two organizations before he made his Major League Baseball debut?
- ALT1b: ... that Zack Kelly received a $500 signing bonus, lost money in his first professional seasons, and was released by two organizations before he made his Major League Baseball debut?
- Great job, all pass, preference for ALT1b! Nice job! ~ Pbritti (talk) 17:59, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
