Please provide proof that the ZF 8 speed automatic is available in Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger V8 models MY2014+. According to both Dodge and Chrysler's sites, V8 equipped models retain the 5 speed automatic from 2011-2013. 67.190.59.220 (talk) 02:01, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Chrysler distinction

[edit]

I see no need for the transmissions Chrysler uses to be highlighted. Chrysler is not more important than any other manufacturer using this transmission. It was originally changed in this edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=ZF_8HP_transmission&oldid=509010829 Mikecom32 (talk) 18:25, 26 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

trying to sound more important?

[edit]

Why "200 milliseconds"? Trying to sound faster than it is? Then why not nanoseconds? I guess it has to be 0.2 seconds!WerWil (talk) 21:00, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi WerWil,
thank you for your contribution. I agree. It is marketing jargon. I replaced it with 0.2 seconds.
