Source: "When one captain failed to give up a tractor he fancied, Gowon is said to have summarily demoted him. (Gowon admits that there was a tractor, but says the captain didn't know how to drive it, and that was why he commandeered it.)" (Rice, Andrew (20 August 2003). "The General" (PDF). - This interesting and substantial article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright or plagiarism issues. I have added ALT1 to give more context. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:53, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote ALT1, but I believe it is a BLP violation. Yoninah (talk) 20:28, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: How? Gowon himself stated that the quarrel took place. He just explains it differently, but the (disputed) reasons are not discussed in the hook. Applodion (talk) 22:42, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
- OK. Restoring tick for online source. Yoninah (talk) 23:15, 22 July 2019 (UTC)
