Should sightseeing spots be listed?

Is Wikipedia the place to list sightseeing spots? I'm worried it makes the article read somewhat like a tourist guidebook, which is generally not desirable for Wikipedia. --Douglaspperkins (talk) 00:23, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
