Possible merge discussion
[edit]@2406:3003:2004:6A0:C179:9D0D:53A8:D147: This is the appropriate place for you to propose a merger. I don't think simply duplicating the content of the two pages makes much sense, but consensus is th way to go. "Articles that have been separate for a long time should usually be discussed first (...)" (WP:MERGEPROP), so please discuss your intentions. Regards, Nyamo Kurosawa (huh?) 09:14, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
Should I merge the Chuo Line and the Keihanna Line into this article?
[edit]It will help in the articles having more references in one single page. 2406:3003:2004:6A0:C179:9D0D:53A8:D147 (talk) 09:25, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
- @2406:3003:2004:6A0:C179:9D0D:53A8:D147: Although references are important, I wouldn't say thats a reason to merge these two articles. Regards, Nyamo Kurosawa (huh?) 15:54, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Nyamo Kurosawa: It would also be more convenient. 2406:3003:2004:6A0:1836:8049:8B63:D4E2 (talk) 10:17, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
- @2406:3003:2004:6A0:1836:8049:8B63:D4E2: Please don't restore your merged version. Instead, open a merge request and get consensus if you want to pursue this further. Nyamo Kurosawa (huh?) 04:33, 25 June 2019 (UTC)

Merger proposal
[edit]I propose to merge Osaka Metro Chūō Line and Keihanna Line into Yumehanna. I think that the content in the Osaka Metro Chūō Line and Keihanna Line articles can easily be explained in the context of Yumehanna, and the Yumehanna article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Osaka Metro Chūō Line and Keihanna Line will not cause any problems as far as article size is concerned. 2406:3003:2004:6A0:3DB9:A1CF:B05A:8B12 (talk) 15:53, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose: They are two railway lines operated by two different companies. Apart from through services and a unified branding campaign (which i couldn't find on either Osaka Metro's and Kintetsu's en websites), they seem to be rather autonomous. Also, the Yumehanna article currently relies on a single source from Kintetsu, so i'd say Yumehanna wouldn't be a good title for this proposed page, as it doesn't seem to be the common name. (@2406:3003:2004:6A0:3DB9:A1CF:B05A:8B12: You should probably tag the articles, as outlined in step 2 of WP:MERGEINIT) Regards, Nyamo Kurosawa (huh?) 20:45, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
