METAR/SPECI (Weather Observation)
[edit]The transmission of KYUM weather observation was terminated many months ago, but KNYL (the military side of the same airport) continues to be available. The current template doesn't work for this airport since it doesn't allow a different ICAO ID. Can someone convert the template back to regular text so that the weather observation reference can be customized to KNYL? HkCaGu 00:23, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
The Airport Facility Directory I receive every other month indicates the FAA code is changing to NYL. The previous edition from April 10th lists YUM as the code (AFD-SW 4/10/08 page 61). New edition effective June 5th shows NYL (AFD-SW 6/5/08 page 61). Presumably the IATA code is remaining YUM. Skywayman (talk) 13:26, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
