[edit]Some people are trying to change the history of Kashmir since the Chaks were mainly from a minority in Islam. The Chaks were extremely good looking, powerful physically and great warriors. Yusuf Shah was a Shia and not a Sunni in fact Yacob Chak was harsh on the Sunnis. So why change history when you can never do it? It is well documented that a small army of Yusuf decimated the huge army of Akbar mmre than once. Well Known Akbar entered Kashmir by deceit as Abu Fazl correctly mentions the Mughals never still found peace!

[edit]The Chaks originated in the region of Gurez and to this the Zoon (Habba Khatoon) mountain is there.
The Chaks were from Dardistan from Gurez. They were Hindus before they converted to Shis Islam retaining their names such as Shankar Chak, Pandu Chak, etc. since they were very recent converts during Yusuf's reign. History must not be changed ot fabricated it serves no purpose.
